The WrestleMania 40 kickoff press conference led to a ton of chaos as the stage for WrestleMania 40 was more or less set. Many fans were convinced Triple H might compete again but it appears that won’t be happening.
During Friday Night SmackDown, Triple H swiftly confronted and addressed the chaotic occurrences during the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff on the February 9 episode of WWE SmackDown, emphasizing the authoritative stance on the situation.
Triple H delivered a commanding speech, making it clear that he’s indifferent to what The Rock and Roman Reigns demanded. Triple H announced that the main event of WrestleMania 40 would see Roman Reigns defending the Undisputed WWE Universal Title against Cody Rhodes. Regardless of any negative reaction, Triple H made it clear that the match is final.
Many fans were convinced Triple H was going to face The Rock. While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer made it clear Triple H isn’t going to come out of retirement to face The Rock.
“They played their little game that they want to wrestle each other at WrestleMania. Last time I was told, that wasn’t even gonna happen. I couldn’t even imagine, you know, he has a pacemaker, so he made it clear that’s not gonna happen.”
We will have to wait and see how WWE will continue to book The Rock and Triple H in the coming weeks, as their Authority vs Bloodline feud will likely last for a very long time. As the countdown to WrestleMania 40 continues, the clash between Authority and Bloodline looms large, leaving fans eagerly anticipating the unfolding drama in the weeks to come.
