The Birdman has his talons in many a pie. While the Cash Money mogul is currently in the middle of mending fences with estranged son Lil Wayne, he's also enjoying quite the year. Not only has Baby proved "man enough" for fiancee Toni Braxton, but he also delivered an original documentary on the foundation of his legendary label. Now, Birdman continues to reach out to the young, impressionable up-and-comers in the game. Evidently, YoungBoy Never Broke Again has been in the middle of some potential serious legal issues. While he was originally arrested after pushing his girlfriend (though she insisted they were merely playing), the rapper was recently released on bail.

Now, Birdman has followed in the footsteps of his loyal homie Young Thug, and thrown his support behind the young rapper. Birdman recently took to Instagram to throw up an image of himself and YoungBoy, bestowing the coveted "nephew" status upon him. In this era of fleeting attention spans, a picture is as ringing an endorsement as any. The alliance between Young Boy and Old Bird may continue to blossom, hopefully resulting in a mutually beneficial partnership.

As it stands, YoungBoy isn't off the hook yet. He can, however, use his temporary freedom to buckle down and make something happen vis-a-vis Until Death Call My Name. Perhaps we can expect a Birdman feature; at the very least, Baby might be able to clear the sample to that "Block Is Hot"inspired YoungBoy track.
